Position Travel nurse RN Post Partum – Denver, Colorado. Job Details Specialty: Post Partum Discipline: RN Start Date: 07/20/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Requirements Active RN license Degree from an accredited nursing program BLS, ACLS & NRP certification At least eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care mother/baby setting Other qualifications as required by the client facility Duties & Responsibilities The Postpartum / Mother‑Baby nurse (RN) educates and assists new mothers with both physical and emotional needs during the postpartum period, caring for infants and teaching mothers about infant care. Responsible for caring for both mothers and their newborns after delivery. Monitor mothers during the hours following delivery, ensuring proper recovery and recognizing postpartum depression. Teach new parents how to care, bathe, breastfeed and/or bottle‑feed the newborn and monitor infant health.
