Job Summary:

Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Overland Park, Kansas. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care in a busy Emergency Department that is a primary Stroke and STEMI Center. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. The shift schedule is nights, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 07/27/2026.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Kansas or Missouri (or Compact) license, minimum of 2 years ER experience, Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Missouri or Compact license. Previous charge experience is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic charting system, community hospital experience, trauma level II experience, and travel experience are preferred.
• Float: Float within scope to meet facility needs, including possible float to units and departments as needed.
• Additional Information: The position is in a Non-Trauma Emergency Department, primarily serving adults and pediatrics, with occasional obstetric patients. The ED has a typical census of 50 patients daily, with 12 treatment rooms available. The facility emphasizes cardiac monitoring, emergency response procedures, and stroke and STEMI certification standards.
