About the Role

The Company is seeking a General Counsel to play a pivotal role in its continued growth and innovation. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing and coordinating all legal activities, with a hands-on approach to managing day-to-day legal operations across the company's innovative assets. This includes providing legal support and leadership in business development, conducting legal due diligence, and overseeing all legal aspects of contracts and agreements. The General Counsel will also be a key advisor on legal matters, partner with various departments on legal issues, and ensure that legal strategies align with the company's broader corporate initiatives. Applicants for the General Counsel position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' of hands-on legal leadership, with a strong preference for those with experience in the pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology industry, particularly in the specialty and generics sectors. The role requires a dynamic legal executive with a collaborative and strategic mindset, capable of thriving in a culturally diverse and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a background in international companies and be adept at managing legal matters that support business growth and risk mitigation. Responsibilities also include serving as the Corporate Secretary, developing and providing training on legal and policy matters, and overseeing outside counsel to ensure cost-effective legal services.
