IT Solutions Architect

Salary: $119,000 - 159,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience gained over 5 years in a comparable role or industry.
• We look for 8–10 years of experience in ETL automation, data management, data warehousing, reporting systems, or interface design, development, and maintenance.
• We need at least 5 years of experience leading these efforts within a team setting with multiple contributors.
• We require hands-on experience with data management platforms such as SSIS, SSAS, InfoSphere, Talend, Informatica, or SAS.
• We expect familiarity with HL7, X12, XML, XSLT, and XSD.
• We require experience with service bus architecture and transaction management platforms such as Microsoft BizTalk Server, Microsoft Message Queue, Edifecs, or comparable tools.

• We architect, design, develop, and implement applications and solutions for highly complex business and technical needs.
• We provide technical direction for design, development, and testing activities to ensure our systems are dependable, scalable, and secure.
• We establish and apply best practices for data movement, data quality, data cleansing, and other ETL-related work.
• We design integrated enterprise solutions across multiple platforms, operating systems, and applications.
• We lead and mentor architects and analysts while serving as a technical lead for new enterprise solutions.
• We translate data models into ETL or ELT loads for data warehouses and data marts.
• We help administer and support the ETL environment alongside DBAs.
• We analyze requirements, build reports, and apply advanced data management expertise, including physical database design and data structures.
• We recommend performance improvements and enforce local, enterprise, and industry standards for development practices, processes, and tools.
• We provide technical leadership on how technology supports business needs and work directly with internal and external stakeholders to align solutions with requirements.
• We coordinate across teams, manage dependencies, and partner with vendors, Enterprise Architecture, UX Designers, DBAs, and infrastructure teams.
• We create proofs of concept for complex initiatives and help establish technical roadmaps.
• We develop data quality components, perform unit and validation testing, and build dimensional data models to support BI reporting.
• We stay current on emerging data management technologies and industry trends and recommend enhancements to keep our architecture effective and efficient.
