Survey Crew Chief

Survey Team Full-time, salary and exempt position Survey Crew Chief Responsibilities Utilize Total Station or GPS to collect data points to be used to perform topographic surveys, ALTA surveys, preliminary and final plats, construction staking and as-built surveys Perform topographic, property and construction staking surveys Deliver survey data within the project tolerance Adhere to all professional/technical requirements of the survey as directed by the Survey Manager Lead and direct the survey crew to perform timely, accurate surveys Act as TREKK’s point of contact for the public in the field Share your technical knowledge by mentoring survey instrument technicians, serving as a technical resource, and training or assisting others as needed Understand and deliver the TREKK customer experience to clients Education, Licensing, Certification and Experience 5+ years of prior experience with proficiency as a survey rodman and crew lead OSHA 10-hour training and CPR/first aid Former construction staking experience required MoDOT and KDOT experience preferred Required Skills/Abilities Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Must be detail oriented and strive to perform work accurately and efficiently Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization Clean driving record and background check This job is considered physically demanding.
