BC/BE Psychiatrist – Outpatient Adult Services Full TimePermanent PositionHartford 10mPosition Overview:Join a cohesive behavioral health team providing outpatient adult psychiatric services in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.Key Responsibilities:Provide direct patient care including diagnostic evaluations, psychotherapy, and pharmacotherapy as appropriateWork within a multidisciplinary treatment team and may serve as a clinical team leaderProvide guidance and leadership to clinicians in developing and implementing treatment plansComplete timely documentation including assessments, clinical interventions, and discharge summariesMonitor risk indicators and address risk management issues to ensure patient, staff, and visitor safetyAdhere to safe, evidence-based prescribing practices and obtain informed consent prior to medication trialsAct as a liaison with outside providers, primary care physicians, schools, and family members as neededProvide supervision to selected non-physician health professionalsParticipate in Medical Staff committees and meetings per Medical Staff regulationsCompensation & Benefits:Competitive salaryComprehensive benefits package including: - Low-cost, high-quality medical and dental insurance - Short-term and long-term disability - Matching 401(k) - Generous paid time off - CME allowance - Additional wellness and professional support resources
