Position Overview We're on the lookout for a qualified and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join a dynamic team of imaging experts committed to delivering outstanding care. You will harness cutting-edge ultrasound technology to carry out diagnostic tasks, collaborate with an encouraging group of healthcare professionals, and bring reassurance to patients through precise and timely imaging. Description of Responsibilities
- Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound exams, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, providing clear and compassionate explanations at every step
- Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, alerting for any technical issues promptly
- Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records in the electronic medical system
- Stay informed about advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and practices
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
- Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred
- Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
- Strong technical skills in sonographic imaging and patient positioning techniques
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
