Maintenance Technician

Job Description As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform various basic mechanical, electrical and light carpentry tasks. You will be responsible for power washing, electronic and mechanical door lock/closure hardware repair, and modular furniture/restroom partition repair. You will also be in charge of water damage clean up, drywall patching/painting, toilet/urinal/sink drain cleaning and fixture repairs. You will be responsible for domestic and heating copper water system repairs, light fixtures/switches, receptacle and motion/occupancy sensor repairs, and roof/window leak investigation/repair. Occasional subcontractor management with elevator, door, plumbing, roofing, generator, electrical and fire system subcontractors will be required. Requirements Basic mechanical, electrical and light carpentry skills Strong work ethic and high level of customer service Must be able to lift 50 lbs Must be able to work well individually as well as with a team environment 5% travel: occasional part pickups in Dayton area or working at our warehouse facility in Vandalia Must have a valid driver’s license, with fewer than 2 moving violations in the last three years and no OVI/DUI/DWI violations in the last five years Benefits We strive to offer an environment that provides our associates with the right balance between work and family.
