Clinical Psychologist

Your new role As a Clinical Psychologist with GuideStar Eldercare, you will join our efforts to provide neuro‑behavioral health services to residents in long‑term care facilities. Using a multi‑disciplinary approach, you will partner with specialty clinicians to provide holistic, continuity of care for elderly patients with neurocognitive disorders such as dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, vascular cognitive impairment, and other neurologic and psychiatric diagnoses. What you’ll do Provide evaluation and establish diagnoses (e.g., Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, vascular) Conduct cognitive assessments Offer condition‑specific support or insight‑based therapy when indicated Coordinate the patient’s care plan with the facility, PCP, and GuideStar colleagues, and engage with families as needed What you’ll need to succeed An active state psychologist license. Passion for the geriatric population, interest in neuro‑behavioral science, and a desire to make a difference among patients with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and other neurodegenerative disorders. An HSPP is preferred in applicable states.
