Senior Project Manager, Biologics R&D - Early Pipeline Programs

Xaira Therapeutics seeks a Senior Project Manager to coordinate biologics research programs across early-stage discovery through lead optimization and IND-enabling studies. The role requires scientific expertise, timeline management, and cross-functional collaboration to support multiple concurrent programs at varying stages of development.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate biologics programs from discovery through lead selection and IND-enabling studies
• Build and maintain project timelines capturing critical path, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables
• Define key milestones and decisional experiments with scientific teams, then translate into resource-informed timelines
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings, documentation, and communication across research teams
• Identify, flag, and resolve interdependencies and conflicts across workstreams and programs

Requirements

• Strong scientific background with hands-on experience in biologics research and development
• Project or program management experience, ideally within research settings
• Demonstrated ability to manage timelines, track deliverables, and coordinate across functions
• Experience defining milestones, designing experiments, and translating science into actionable plans
• Track record managing multiple concurrent projects or workstreams
