Interim Respiratory Therapy Manager

Responsible for providing leadership to the staff of Respiratory Care. Directly involved in the supervision of staff and plays an integral role in Respiratory Care operations. Duties include hiring, disciplinary action, discharging, scheduling, assigning work, and recognition of staff. May perform tests for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of respiratory diseases. Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing disorders. Assume primary responsibility for all respiratory care modalities, including the supervision of respiratory therapists. Initiate and conduct therapeutic procedures, maintain patient records, and select, assemble, check, and operate equipment. Plan and implement respiratory budgets and monitor productivity reports. Collaborate with other leaders to facilitate favorable financial performance. Maintain current knowledge of regulatory standards and evidence-based practices for the scope of care and ensure compliance. Supervise staff and play an integral role in departmental operations. Actively support and participate in shared governance. Experience with Workday and UKG preferred.
