About the Position

Job Opportunity – Operating Room Surgical Technologist – Pennsylvania

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, block scheduling, 13 weekend shifts per contract, no on-call or holiday requirements

Highlights:

• Level I Trauma Center with 32 operating rooms featuring diverse, high-acuity surgical cases
• Specialized case mix including cardiac procedures, liver transplants, craniotomies, spinal cases, and ortho fractures
• Float between multiple campuses within the health system to gain exposure to varied surgical environments
• Both scrub and circulating responsibilities required with 1:1 patient ratio
• Epic charting system with 40 hours of orientation provided
• Scrubs provided; first-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience

Requirements:

• 3 years of Operating Room experience required
• Level I Trauma experience and certification required
• Previous charge experience required
• BLS certification required
• Scrub experience required (hard stop)
• Experience with cardiac, liver transplant, craniotomies, and spinal cases required
• Experience with ortho fractures preferred
• Valid Pennsylvania state license or multistate compact license required
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Ability to float between multiple service locations within the health system
