Schedule:
- Part-time
- Monday through Friday (as needed)
- Approximately 12 to 16 hours per week
- Typical shift: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
- Hours may vary based on business needs
Position Summary
Campus Caters is looking for a dependable Part-Time Cook to join our kitchen team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys preparing quality meals in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen environment. Retirees are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes and USDA food safety guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen
- Follow ServSafe and food safety procedures at all times
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen setup
- Work efficiently during busy meal service
- Lift and move supplies up to 50 pounds as needed
- Support other kitchen duties as assigned
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of commercial cooking or food preparation experience
- Experience following USDA food preparation and food safety guidelines
- Current ServSafe Manager Certification required
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
