Part Time Dental Assistant

Metro Dental Associates supported by Smile Brands is seeking a motivated and patient-focused part time Dental Assistant (DA) to join our team in Morristown! Schedule (days/hours)

Mon: 10-7pm & Th: 8-4pm

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including surgeries, fillings, cleanings, and other treatments.
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment before, during, and after patient treatment.
• Take digital X-rays, panoramic images, CBCT scans, and intraoral photos.
• Prepare materials for dental procedures (e.g., fillings, impressions, crowns).
• Provide chairside assistance, ensuring patients are comfortable and informed.
• Record and update patient medical histories and treatment plans in the dental software.
• Manage dental instruments and tools, passing them to the dentist as needed during procedures.
• Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene.

Qualifications

• Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain before start date)
• Xray (DRT) license required

Compensation

$27-$30/hr
