MRI Technologist - Per Diem

Role Overview: Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologists perform diagnostic imaging using radiofrequencies within a magnetic field. They acquire, analyze, and prepare data for interpretation by licensed practitioners, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols. Key Responsibilities: Obtain correct orders, identify and prepare patients, document clinical history, and optimize imaging protocols while applying ALARA principles. They evaluate image quality, assist with magnetic resonance interventional procedures, and monitor safety to minimize risks. They may administer medications via vascular access and educate healthcare providers and students. Qualifications & Skills: Certified by ARMRIT, ARRT, or NMTCB, with at least 2 years of related experience. Graduate from a radiologic technology program; a bachelor's degree is preferred. Proficient in routine and complex procedures, participating in quality improvement activities. Strong understanding of safety principles, technical expertise, and organizational priorities is essential. Additional Requirements: BLS certification and compliance with organizational policies.
