Overview
Registered Nurse – Operating Room (RN-OR) in Atlanta, GA. This travel assignment begins July 6, 2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,000 to $2,119 per week, with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift pattern is 2x3 Days, with day shift hours roughly 6:45 a.m. to 7:15 p.m., and requirements for call on weekends and holidays. The position is in a hospital setting performing operating room nursing duties in a high-acuity environment that may involve trauma cases, burn cases, and other specialized procedures. Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care for adult and pediatric patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Assume circulating and/or scrub roles to maintain a sterile field and support the surgical team
- Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers with instrumentation, counts, and specimen handling
- Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures; communicate changes to the team
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and recovery planning in the OR and immediate post-anesthesia care areas as appropriate
- Document intraoperative events accurately and participate in turnover and post-operative readiness

Requirements
- Previous travel nursing experience in the operating room
- Level 1 trauma experience preferred
- Strong OR skills with the ability to manage high-acuity cases
- Burn experience preferred
- Availability for day shift with call on weekends and holidays
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes surgical environment
