Evening Working Supervisor | Virginia Beach


Shift Options:

• Mon-Fri 7am-3pm
• Mon-Fri 3pm- 11pm

General Purpose:


Oversees and assists with the accurate and timely cleaning of commercial offices, buildings, and churches. The Working Supervisor assists the Area Manager in overseeing nighttime operations and staff in their territory. You will need a clean background check, the ability to pass a drug screen and a clean driving record.


This position is a full-time role with variable hours totaling 40 hours per week. The schedule may fluctuate based on business needs, with shifts that could vary from day to day or week to week. While the standard expectation is 40 hours per week, occasional overtime may be required, particularly during peak periods, to support critical projects or deadlines.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serves as an example of professionalism in appearance and conduct to both employees and customers at all times.
• Builds positive relationships with managers, supervisors, building cleaning staff and customers.
• Coordinates with Building Leads/Supervisors to ensure that all buildings are maintained at the highest level of cleaning.
• Coordinates and/or provides coverage of all buildings each night.
• Meets and communicates weekly inspection schedules.
• Coaches and re-trains Team Cleaners as needed to maintain maximum building standards.
• Works with
• the Area Manager to properly administer disciplinary paperwork when necessary.
• Trains new employees in proper cleaning procedures and building Scope of Work.
• Oversees and reports supply and equipment issues.
• Utilizes and becomes proficient with TEAM software/eHub on your telephone.
• Monitors and responds to Action Items on eHub.
• Attends regular Supervisor Meetings.
• Completes all other tasks assigned to you by OnPoint's management staff.

Qualifications/Education/Work Experience:

• Minimum of 1-3 years supervisory or managerial experience.
• Supervisory or managerial experience in janitorial industry preferred but not required.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Must have a valid state driver license with a clean driving record.
• Must have reliable transportation to job location.
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.

Physical Requirements:

• Position requires bending, twisting, lifting (up to 25 pounds), stretching, reaching, and standing for extended periods of time.
