SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Production & Utility employee reports directly to the Kitchen Manager and is responsible for the duties so assigned by the manager. JOB FUNCTIONS :

Assist in all areas of production, serving and cleanup. Interact with co-workers, administration, parents and the community in a positive, supportive and cooperative manner. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

Enrolled as a Grand Rapids Public Schools Student. Demonstrated good attendance and punctuality. Ability to work well with students and staff. Willingness to be trained in all areas of food production. Knowledge of or the willingness to learn proper sanitation and food handling procedures. Demonstrated ability to work in a diverse environment. Demonstrated ability to participate as a member of a team.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The employee must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds on a regular basis, must have the ability to bend easily at the knees and stand for extended periods of time.
