Blood Draw Specialist 5332

Location: Birmingham, AL

Schedule: Wednesday-Tuesday 1PM-11 PM, Wed-Tues, 7on7off

Projected duration: 3 months

Benefits are included

Requires experience with younger and older patients

Summary: As a phlebotomist, you will assist with various tasks, training, and workflow recommendations.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Skills in blood draws, specimen labeling, centrifuging, and recording maintenance data.
  • Properly explain venipuncture procedures to patients.
  • Understand and follow physicians’ orders.
  • Match requisition forms with specimen tubes.
  • Package and store specimens correctly.
  • Adhere to OSHA and DEP regulations.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience.
