Housekeeping Laundry Attendant

Hotel: Des Moines Sheraton, 1800 50th Street West, Des Moines, IA 50266. Full time. Compensation Range: $16.25 per hour. Job Description Perform laundry and housekeeping tasks to ensure a high level of cleanliness and organization for guests. Responsibilities Sort laundry by color, fabric, and required level of cleaning to ensure proper treatment. Operate commercial washers, dryers, and pressing equipment efficiently and safely. Fold, press, and organize linen so that guests perceive quality and care. Maintain laundry carts and closets with the appropriate supplies, keeping them neat and accessible. Support general housekeeping duties by keeping public areas tidy and assisting with other tasks as needed. Qualifications Laundry or cleaning experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent. Detail‑oriented mindset to minimize complaints and maximize guest satisfaction. Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and standing for extended periods during the shift.
