Emergency Department (ED) Tech - CNA or EMT

ED Tech (EMT or CNA)

HSHS St Nicholas Hospital is seeking an ED Tech (EMT or CNA) to join our Emergency Department (ED). Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven caregivers looking for an opportunity to apply clinical knowledge in a fast-paced environment with complex acuities. New grads welcomed to apply.

Position Specifics:

• Department: Emergency Department (ED)
• Core Function: Nursing Support
• Schedule: Full-time: 36 hrs/wk, Night Shift (7p-7a) and every third weekend
• Facility: St. Nicholas Hospital
• Location: Sheboygan, WI

Education Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED, or related vocational training is required.

Experience Qualifications:

• 6 months of experience in an acute setting patient care role is required.
• 6 months of experience in emergency trauma care is preferred.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations:

• EMT (Emergency Medical Technician), EMT-Basic, EMT-Intermediate, EMT-Paramedic, active enrollment in EMT Paramedic program with IV training completion or CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant) certification is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
