Are you an experienced Registered Nurse ready to take the next step in your career? Pahrump Health and Rehabilitation Center is looking for a dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team!

In this leadership role, you will partner with the Director of Nursing to support daily nursing operations, mentor and guide nursing staff, promote quality resident care, and help ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Please note: Candidates must hold an active RN license and have prior professional nursing experience. We welcome experienced nurses who are ready to take the next step in their careers!

What You'll Do

• Oversee Unit Managers across assigned units, support their success, and ensure resident care concerns are addressed promptly.

• Monitor infection control practices, track and analyze infection data, and identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

• Partner with the Facility Educator to identify training needs and support ongoing staff education and development.

• Participate in facility surveys conducted by authorized government agencies and assist with regulatory compliance efforts.

• Help evaluate nursing department staffing needs and ensure appropriate staffing levels across all shifts to meet resident care needs.

• Assist with reviewing and updating nursing services policies and procedures at least annually.

• Work with the Director of Nursing and Administrator to interview and select qualified nursing staff.

• Assist with annual performance evaluations for nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants.

• Help ensure residents receive individualized, high-quality care in accordance with their wishes, care plans, and applicable standards.

What We're Looking For

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nevada.

• Skilled nursing facility experience preferred.

• Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to lead, support, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

• A commitment to resident-centered care, staff development, and quality outcomes.
