Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to provide exceptional care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and maintaining a safe and supportive atmosphere for patients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on individual needs.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Monitor and interpret vital signs, medical history, and laboratory results.
- Assist in performing emergency procedures and interventions as required.
- Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with protocols.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with the State of New Mexico or current compact license.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BCLS) Certification.
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
- Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification.
- Current Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) Certification.
Schedule
This position requires working night shifts (3x12-hour shifts) from 19:00 to 07:00. Flexibility in scheduling is expected, and block schedules are not available.
