About the Position

Travel RN – BMT Oncology

Contract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) | 13-Week Assignment | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an active BMT Oncology unit serving 80–100 patients daily with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio (adjusted for higher acuity)
• Administer chemotherapy and manage related patient care protocols
• Perform central line draws and operate Baxter IV pumps and ICU medical chemo adapters
• Document accurately using Meditech and Onco EMR systems
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge RNs, resource RNs, and medical assistants
• Participate in care delivery within a nationally recognized transplant center engaged in phase 1 and first-in-human clinical trials, including a growing CAR-T program

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current BMT Oncology acute care hospital experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• ONS (Oncology Nursing Society) Certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BMT and/or Hematology Oncology (HemOnc) experience strongly preferred
• Outgoing, personable, and warm bedside manner that aligns with a collaborative unit culture
