Summer Culinary Internship
Program Duration: 90-Day Paid Summer Internship (possible full-time after summer)
Academic Partner: Westchester Community College Culinary Arts
Program Overview: This structured rotational internship provides culinary students with hands-on experience in a private country club environment.
Pay: $18/hr-Part Time
Interns have the opportunity to rotate through three distinct kitchen operations, gaining exposure to la carte dining, banquet production, and high-volume fast-casual service.
Rotations (30 Days Each):
- Main Kitchen
- La Carte Dining
- Banquet & Events Kitchen
- Pool Cabana / Golf Course Kitchen
Learning Objectives:
- Develop knife skills and mise en place discipline
- Execute recipes and prep lists accurately
- Understand service styles across multiple dining formats
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
- Demonstrate professionalism and teamwork
Assessment: Interns are evaluated at the end of each 30-day rotation using standardized recipes.
