Key Responsibilities Demonstrated experience with laboratory instrumentation and methodologies across various departments such as Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Immunohematology. Ability to work effectively in the Blood Bank. Proficiency in performing complex laboratory tests, analyzing results, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting. Strong understanding of quality control, quality assurance, and laboratory safety protocols. Excellent critical thinking, problem‑solving, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment, both independently and as part of a team. Job Requirements Minimum one year of experience in an acute care facility. Bachelor's Degree in a biological or chemical science as defined by CLIA. Appropriately trained in clinical laboratory science as evaluated by the Director of the Clinical Laboratory. California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License (CLS) required. A current Los Angeles County fire card is required.
