Accountant

Staff Accountant Job Summary: The Staff Accountant is responsible for maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance with GAAP, assisting with month-end close processes, and supporting internal reporting. This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, and ensure accuracy of financial data. Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports. Support AP and AR processes, ensuring timely invoicing and payments. Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures. Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and projects as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 1-3 years of accounting experience Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP). Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
