Overview

As Senior Art Director you'll be a strategic and hands-on creative leader responsible for developing compelling campaign concepts that win new business and drive brand growth. This role partners closely with copywriters, strategists, and account teams to create integrated creative ideas and pitch presentations across both digital and traditional channels. The ideal candidate combines exceptional visual storytelling, conceptual thinking, and presentation skills with a strong command of creative tools and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead creative concept development for new business pitches and strategic growth opportunities.

• Create integrated campaign ideas across digital, social, experiential, content, video, print, OOH, and emerging channels.

• Translate client briefs into clear creative territories and visual narratives.

• Develop pitch materials, presentation decks, mood boards, and visual prototypes.

• Collaborate with teams of Copywriters, Strategists, Account Leads, and Production partners.

• Present creative ideas with confidence and articulate the rationale behind concepts and design decisions.

• Ensure creative excellence, brand consistency, and strategic alignment throughout the concepting process.

• Stay current on design trends, cultural shifts, technology, and platform innovations that inform creative thinking.

• Mentor and provide creative guidance to junior designers and art directors when applicable.

• Contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative environment where multiple opportunities are developed simultaneously.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in art direction, integrated campaign development, or creative concepting within an agency environment.

• Strong portfolio demonstrating breakthrough conceptual thinking and integrated campaign work.

• Proven experience developing creative for business pitches.

• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat.

• Strong presentation design skills, including PowerPoint and Keynote.

• Experience with Figma and other collaborative design tools.

• Solid understanding of digital, social, content, video, experiential, and traditional media channels.

• Exceptional typography, layout, visual storytelling, and design craft skills.

• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on creative execution.

• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.

• Experience using AI-powered tools and emerging technologies is a plus.

Compensation Range: USD $81,225.00 - USD $111,100.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
