Job Full Description

Express Employment Professionals is currently interviewing for a full-time Production Lead position with a local Hot Springs company! The pay ranges from $18.00/hr - $22.00/hr, depending upon experience, and the schedule is Monday - Friday from 6am - 4:30pm. The Production Lead will be crucial in supporting associate scheduling, completing daily operating reports, increasing production through leadership, and helping develop strategic plans.


Production Lead key Responsibilities include:

• Build a Safety-First culture and develop a highly motivated workforce; Identify and eliminate potential sources of food safety risk. Responsible for delivering site environmental, health, & safety performance; works to exceed expectations for all internal & external audits.
• Ensures all legal compliance requirements, company safety procedures, and local and state health and safety regulations are met.
• Train new employees; serve as a positive role model of emotional intelligence and leadership. Drives positive employee relations and delivers sustainable results.
• Oversees daily floor operations; implements and sustains manufacturing best practices/procedures and meets/exceeds relevant certifications/qualifications/requirements (for example, OSHA, SQF, GMP, HACCP, and FDA).
• Identifies issues quickly, assists in developing action plans, and coordinates team member activities so these issues are communicated upward and dealt with quickly & effectively.
• Must be competent in identifying root causes of issues and adept at developing and implementing corrective actions to prevent problems from repeating.

Production Lead Qualifications:

• Experience: 2 + years of supervisory experience
• Computer knowledgeable with specific knowledge of Excel
• Must be able to work overtime as needed
• Aptitude for equipment operation helpful
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong critical thinking skills and decision-making abilities
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Excellent leadership, team building, and management skills
• Able to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds
