Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to evaluate the mental health, substance use, and medical needs of clients, ensuring that assessments are appropriate for diverse age groups and cultural backgrounds. \n
- Provide a range of behavioral health services to patients, including individual and group counseling, intake assessments, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and referral for substance use treatment, tailored to meet their unique needs. \n
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation of client evaluations, progress notes, and suicide risk assessments, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices. \n
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and quality improvement teams to develop and implement effective processes for data collection and outcome measurement, contributing to the clinic's goal of enhancing patient care. \n
- Create and facilitate support groups or workshops aimed at promoting community wellness and personal development for various patient populations. \n
You will work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. This role requires an understanding of the unique needs and cultural contexts of our clients, enabling you to provide effective and relatable counseling services.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A current, valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California is required. \n
- A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program, along with a minimum of three (3) years of post-licensure experience in clinical practice. \n
- \n
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based counseling techniques and crisis intervention strategies, with the ability to demonstrate independent judgment in clinical situations. \n
- Experience in group therapy facilitation and the development of treatment plans that align with the goals of diverse patient populations. \n
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline patient evaluations and documentation. \n
