Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Occupational Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Occupational Therapist Inpatient position available in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The selected candidate will provide individualized occupational therapy treatment for patients across a variety of diagnoses, including orthopedic, neurological, and general medical conditions. The role involves evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced acute care environment. Job Details Location: Sioux Falls, SD Shift: Days, 8 hours per day, generally Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Schedule: 40 hours per week, with 1 weekend shift per month. Required Qualifications: Valid occupational therapy license; BLS certification; minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in inpatient settings; ability to treat medically complex and unstable patients; proficiency in computerized charting including EPIC; access to specialized equipment such as UE Bioness and Dynavision. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working within acute care hospitals or rehabilitation settings; strong critical thinking skills and adaptability to a dynamic schedule; effective communication within interdisciplinary teams. Additional Information: Orientation will include computer documentation training over 1 to 2 days, with subsequent department-specific training. Clinicians are expected to manage a fluctuating patient load, prioritize treatments, and effectively communicate care plans. Candidates must adhere to dress code of business casual with no jeans and are expected to badge in and out at the facility.
