Description

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a 13-week OR/Surgery contract requiring multi-specialty surgical experience and night/weekend call availability.

Details

• 22-OR surgical unit within a non-trauma hospital
• 1:1 patient ratios with one team in-house at all times
• Equipment and specialties include robotics, cardiac, vascular, neuro, spine, oncology, orthopedics, plastics, urology, and GYN
• Procedures performed include appendectomies, cholecystectomies, spine fusions, total joints, craniotomies, and mastectomies with DIEP flaps
• Meditech EMR used
• Day shift schedule, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Call required, averaging 4-5 on-call shifts and 4-5 late shifts per 6-week period
• Weekend shifts available

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of CST experience with at least 1 year of travel experience
• Experience in ortho, spine, neuro, robotics, plastics, general, and GYN required
• Neuro/spine experience required
• Certification required for all CST candidates
• State licensure required if applicable
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Professional reference required (two references required for Florida and Missouri)
