Temporary Locum Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) – Pediatrics

Location: Kindercare Clinic, Howell, NJ
Position Type: Temporary Locum Tenens
Coverage Dates: July 30 – August 7

About the Opportunity

Kindercare Clinic is seeking a warm, compassionate, and experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide temporary pediatric coverage while our physician is out of the office. We are looking for a provider who genuinely enjoys working with children and families, has an excellent bedside manner, and can help create a positive and comfortable experience for our patients.

Schedule

• Sunday: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Monday – Thursday: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
• Friday: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat pediatric patients for acute and routine medical concerns
• Perform sick visits and follow-up appointments
• Prescribe medications and order appropriate testing as appropriate
• Document patient encounters in the electronic medical record
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and preventive care
• Collaborate with office staff to provide efficient, high-quality patient care

Qualifications

• Current NP or PA license in the State of New Jersey
• Pediatric experience strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly, patient-centered approach with children of all ages
• Ability to work independently in an outpatient pediatric setting
• DEA registration (if applicable)

Compensation

• Pay is per hour, depending on credentials, experience, and malpractice coverage
• Providers who carry their own malpractice insurance are preferred
• Supportive office staff and established patient base
