Office Janitor/Housekeeper

Local client seeking a Janitor/Housekeeper for their office. This is a temporary position lasting 2-6 weeks. This role performs routine cleaning tasks, manages waste disposal, supports floor care, and communicates facility supply and maintenance needs to ensure efficient daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces

• Handle waste collection, removal, and disposal in accordance with company standards

• Maintain and care for flooring, including mopping, buffing, and spot treatments as needed

• Monitor cleaning supplies and inventory levels; report shortages promptly

• Identify and report maintenance issues or facility repair needs to the appropriate team

• Follow all safety guidelines and cleaning procedures to maintain a safe work environment

• Ensure assigned areas are clean, orderly, and presentable at all times

Schedule

• Monday through Friday

• 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

• Includes a 30-minute unpaid meal break

Compensation

• Pay range: $15.00 – $17.00 per hour , based on experience and qualifications

Qualifications

• Prior cleaning or janitorial experience preferred, but not required

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards

• Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods

• Reliable, punctual, and professional

Work Environment

• Indoor facility setting

• Requires regular physical activity, including lifting, bending, and moving equipment or supplies

Pay Details: $15.00 to $17.00 per hour
