Polysomnograph Technician

Job Title
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and equipment for sleep disorder testing.
- Perform and monitor polysomnographic studies.
- Monitor sleep activity, abnormalities, movement arousals, and respiratory patterns.
- Accurately document patient activity and test results according to policy.
- Provide appropriate patient support throughout testing.
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in polysomnography/sleep disorders.
- Demonstrated knowledge of sleep disorders, sleep activity, abnormalities, movement arousals, and respiratory patterns.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification.
- Current and unrestricted RPSGT certification/registration through the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT).
Holiday Requirement
Must be available to work 2 of 3 major holidays:
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
- New Year's Day
And 1 minor holiday:
- Friday after Thanksgiving
- Christmas Eve
- New Year's Eve
Candidate Requirement
- No local candidates within 50 miles of the facility.
