14th Element is a cutting‑edge upper‑limb prosthetic central fabrication lab seeking a highly skilled Carbon Fiber Specialist with a passion for craftsmanship, innovation, and meticulous clinical-quality detail. This role is ideal for a technician experienced in wet lamination who is ready to expand into the specialized world of upper‑limb prosthetic fabrication under the guidance of our master technician. Job Duties & Skills Carbon Fiber Lamination — Perform precise wet layups for custom prosthesis Additional Fabrication — Hard and soft thermoplastic forming, plaster work - shaping, smoothing and build-ups, breaking out and grinding on plastics and carbon fiber, precision finish work, harnessing, sewing, soldering, metal work, foam work, and assembling prosthetic devices to clinician specifications. Cosmetic Detailing — Resin color matching, applying vinyl wraps, laminating cosmetic sleeves, fabric and vinyl stickers, airbrushing and other unique cosmetic covering requests 3D Modeling & Printing — knowledge and skilled in using 3D modeling software as well as printers Collaborative Problem‑Solving — Work directly with clinicians and technical staff to develop creative solutions for complex cases. Quality Assurance — Ensure every device leaving the facility meets clinical, functional, and aesthetic requirements.
