As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support store teams and visitors with clear communication and customer service. You will respond to alarms and access control needs as required, document activity, and contribute to a caring culture where Allied Universal is agile, reliable, innovative, and driven by teamwork and integrity. What You’ll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with conflict de-escalation and contacting law enforcement and/or emergency services as directed by post orders. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout sales floors, entrances, loading areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations. Monitor access points and observe customer and associate activity, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to site leadership per established procedures. Complete required reports such as incident reports and daily activity logs, and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal supervision and on-site management. Minimum Requirements: CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire. CPR and/or First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
