BAE Systems Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) business area is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products and systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, develop and implement quality processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. In this role you will:Plan, conduct, and report internal audits in accordance with BAE Systems internal command media, program specific requirements and applicable standards including AS9100.Evaluate the effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS) at the program and factory level and identify areas for improvement.Support external audits by BVC and perform any necessary follow-up activities.As applicable, act as Corrective Action / Preventive Action owner, and help ensure Corrective Action / Preventive Action effectiveness.Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure timely and effective Corrective Action / Preventive Action.Maintain audit schedules, records, and documentation in compliance with internal company requirements.Create and maintain audit process tools & resources including but not limited to Teams/SharePoint folder and other related standard process tools.Act as a change agent to promote a culture of quality, continuous improvement, and compliance.Influence stakeholders across departments to drive quality initiatives and ensure audit readiness.Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, to all levels of the organization internally and externally.Partner with key stakeholders in the planning and execution of the internal audit process for the Nashua area facilities and programs executed within.Required Education, Experience, & SkillsBachelor's degree and.2-4+ years of experience or 6-8+ years of technical/engineering experience in lieu of degreeExperience/knowledge in Quality Assurance in a regulated environmentStrong understanding of Corrective Action / Preventive Action processes and root cause analysis methodologies.Proactive approach to continuous improvement with a solution-based mindsetInterpersonal skills to promote and accomplish constructive solutions to problemsExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrated ability to influence others and lead change initiatives.High level of integrity, professionalism, and strategic/risk-based thinking.High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of daily activitiesTeam-oriented with the ability to build trust and work collaboratively across programs and functions.Preferred Education, Experience, & SkillsBachelor's Degree in an engineering or technical fieldWorking knowledge in the application of AS9100 and BAE command media.Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or equivalent certificationRelevant AS9100 training/certification from an organization recognized in industryAdvanced user skills in the M365 Office suite including Teams, and SharePointPay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $97008 - $164914 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
