This full-time position is located in a home care setting where patient-centric care is our top priority. Work Environment

As a Nurse Practitioner at Gotham Enterprises, you will work onsite in Waco, Texas, a thriving city with a strong sense of community. The home care facility provides a unique setting for delivering personalized treatment and care directly in the patients' homes. Our hours are structured from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, offering a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and assess patients' medical histories to provide an accurate diagnosis.
• Order, interpret, and analyze diagnostic tests like blood work and imaging studies to establish treatment plans.
• Diagnose a range of health conditions, from acute illnesses to chronic diseases, and propose individualized treatment options.
• Prescribe medications as necessary, adhering to the standards of patient safety and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, ensuring all health documentation is up to date and compliant with legal standards.
• Inform and educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and medication management.
• Advocate for preventative health practices, helping patients make informed decisions about their care.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to enhance the quality of patient care.
• Engage in continuous professional development through training and research initiatives, fostering a culture of learning.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Nurse Practitioner role primarily involves working with a diverse patient population, including individuals with varying degrees of chronic and acute health conditions. The focus will be on family health, internal medicine, urgent care cases, and overall wellness. Building meaningful relationships with patients will be essential, as you will guide them through their health journeys and facilitate access to required resources.

Qualifications

• A valid Texas State Nurse Practitioner license.
• A Master’s degree in Nursing or a related field, with a specialization as an Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
• DEA number to prescribe medications in accordance with state regulations.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a relevant healthcare setting.
• Strong understanding of health and patient care regulations specific to home care practices.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to ethical practices and teamwork.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in primary care, acute care, or specialized fields such as cardiology or urgent care.
• Background in working collaboratively with interprofessional teams within a home care setting.
• Bilingual candidates are considered a plus but not required.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 130,000 to 150,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Gotham Enterprises Ltd provides an extensive benefits package that includes:
