Base pay range $150.00/hr - $150.00/hr Type: Hourly contract Compensation: $150/hour (flexible, starting rate) Location: Remote Commitment: Flexible, immediate start Role Responsibilities Contribute to and maintain well-known open‑source repositories through meaningful code contributions. Author, review, and manage pull requests, including merging code into large and complex codebases. Collaborate with distributed teams to improve code quality, stability, and maintainability. Apply expert‑level engineering judgment to solve complex technical challenges in open‑source environments. Requirements Active open‑source contributor with demonstrable contributions to recognized repositories. Strong expertise in authoring, reviewing, and managing pull requests in large‑scale projects. Prior professional experience working as a software engineer. Ability to work independently and start immediately in a remote, contract‑based role.
