Senior RELO & Dispute Resolution Supervising Attorney

Summary of Job Description The Sr. RELO (Real Estate Legal Operations) & Dispute Resolution Supervising Attorney drafts amendments, negotiates complex legal terms, and finalizes documents with landlords. This position also handles liens, condemnation, ADA matters, landlord‑tenant disputes, and general real estate issues. The Sr. Supervising Attorney reviews and drafts various legal agreements such as Exclusive Waivers, Signage Agreements, etc. The role consults on dispute resolution, litigation, drafting complaints and respondents, conducting lease legal reviews, legal risk analysis, and drafting legal responses to landlords. They supervise other associates, coaching and developing them to support the company’s growth goals. Job Responsibilities Drafts complex amendments and negotiates legal terms, finalizing documents with landlords. Handles liens, condemnation, and ADA matters; addresses ADA‑related real estate issues and landlord‑tenant disputes. Reviews, drafts, and manages miscellaneous legal agreements, such as Exclusive Waivers, Signage Agreements, Consent/Amendments for CCRs, Easement Agreements, Non‑Renewal Amendments, Settlement Agreements, and other property‑management documents requiring REA approval. Provides consultation on dispute resolution and litigation, drafts complaints and respondents, conducts lease legal reviews, performs legal risk analysis, and drafts responses to landlords to mitigate exposure. Negotiates condemnation awards and settlements based on state or federal government notifications. Drafts, negotiates, and finalizes real‑estate new site purchases and leases as needed. Supervises associates, developing and coaching paralegals, less‑experienced attorneys, and support associates to meet the company’s growth strategies; assists in hiring and retaining legal talent. Builds and maintains valuable partnerships with stakeholders across departments, reflected in feedback and survey scores. Successful completion of initial and periodically required trainings. Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position. Pay Range: L3: $194,000 - $207,000 / Annual * Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.
