This position must integrate company values into daily practice./pp10K sign-on bonus/ppPay: Up to $32.41 per hour. Pay based on experience./ppShift differential eligible - Ranges from $2.00 - $4.00/pp7 am - 7 pm; 3 12 hour shifts a week/ppEvery other weekend required/ppHoliday requirement/ppEssential Functions:/pulliProvides skilled nursing care to patients as ordered by the physician and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse./liliImplements orders for medications and treatments as ordered by the physician and in accordance with nursing care plan as written by the RN./liliProvides information to the Registered Nurse to assist in the development of an individualized plan of care for each patient./liliParticipates in evaluation of the effectiveness of interventions in relation to patient responses and seeks guidance in redirection when necessary./liliReports to supervisor on patient care rendered, problems concerning patients needs, and resolution to those needs./liliHelps identify patient problems and potential risks and contributes to the development of interventions./liliAssists in identification of patients learning needs and reinforces self-care and other techniques./liliAppropriately designates applicable charges to individual patients using the hospitals established system./liliMay be required to work during inclement weather and other staffing emergencies./liliProvides an environment conducive to safety for patients, visitors, and staff. Assesses the risks for safety and implements appropriate precautions. Complies with appropriate and approved safety and Infection Prevention standards./liliMaintains regular attendance in keeping with assigned work schedule./liliCompletes required trainings, as assigned./liliPerforms other duties as assigned to support overall effectiveness of the organization./li/ulpMinimum Job Requirements/ppMinimum Education Experience:/pulliTwo years experience in inpatient hospital setting, inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred./li/ulpRequired Licenses, Certifications, and/or Documentation:/pulliCurrent state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse required./liliCurrent BLS certification required./li/ulpRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:/pulliKnowledge of and adherence to current nursing theory and practice and infection prevention standards of practice./liliKnowledge of accreditation standards to ensure adherence to all standards set forth by state and accrediting agencies of TJC and CMS./liliKnowledge of clinical operations and procedures, and utilizes proper policies, procedures, and guidelines in caring for patients./liliDemonstrates general computer skills including data entry, word processing, email, and records management./liliDemonstrates critical thinking skills./liliEffective organizational and time management skills./liliEffective written and verbal communication skills./liliAbility to prioritize, meet deadlines, and complete complex tasks./liliAbility to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection prevention standards./liliAbility to work independently./liliAbility to maintain proper levels of confidentiality./liliAbility to work closely and professionally with others at all levels of the organization./li/ulpPhysical Requirements Over the Course of a Shift:/pulliA significant amount of standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling, often for prolonged periods of time./liliBoth gross and precise motor functions./liliLifting/exerting of up to 50 lbs./liliPossible exposure to bodily fluids./liliVisual acuity required for patient assessment and documentation of care./liliAcute hearing required for accurate patient assessment./liliSufficient manual dexterity to operate equipment and computer keyboard./liliClose vision and the ability to adjust focus./li/ul/div
