Responsibilities Establish, maintain and monitor schedules, budgets and staffing for projects. Mentor and train employees. Responsible for creating and executing business plans for the group. Responsible for marketing NV5 to NYSDOT, local municipalities and other potential clients to obtain new contracts. Participate in professional associations and societies. Work with our Long Island Director to achieve department goals. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering New York PE license Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in transportation/highway design engineering Minimum of 5 years of previous management experience Minimum of 4 years with business development within the transportation market Proficiency in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD Previous NYSDOT project experience and municipal roadway improvement projects Experience in managing projects and leading project teams. Knowledge of Civil 3D and/or Open Roads software Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Must possess or be able to obtain a valid driver's license prior to employment. Experience working on Long Island, NY preferred NV5 offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including medical, dental, life insurance, PTO, 401(k) and professional development/advancement opportunities. Compensation: $125,000.00 to $150,000.00 per year Base pay offered for this New York-based role may vary and can be higher or lower depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base pay, this position may be eligible for a comprehensive range of medical, financial, and other benefits, depending on the role offered.
