We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in promoting oral health and providing quality dental care to our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include performing dental cleanings, conducting oral examinations, and educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices.

Duties:
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including removing plaque and tartar buildup
- Conduct oral examinations to assess the overall oral health of patients
- Take and develop dental x-rays for diagnostic purposes
- Apply fluoride treatments and sealants to protect teeth from decay
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for at-home care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical documentation, treatment plans, and progress notes
- Follow strict infection control protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of patients and staff
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive dental care

Skills:
- Proficiency in dental software systems, such as Dentrix, Open Dental, Eaglesoft for scheduling appointments and managing patient records
- Knowledge of medical imaging techniques for capturing dental x-rays
- Familiarity with medical records management and HIPAA regulations
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to educate patients on oral health practices in a clear and concise manner
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation of patient information
- Ability to work well in a team environment, collaborating with dentists, dental assistants, and administrative staff
