Physical Therapist - Outpatient Neuro Clinic

Job Description Full time, 10 hour position. The staff of the Cedars-Sinai Outpatient Neurological Multidisciplinary Clinic work closely with the medical center’s medical staff to provide excellent and innovative care to patients requiring care due to post‑operative and chronic conditions. This clinic is a fast‑paced environment that requires the ability to work independently. As a full time Physical Therapist in the Cedars‑Sinai Neurological Clinic in Los Angeles, California, you will primarily complete evaluations and provide appropriate treatment interventions per policies. You will complete required documentation accurately and thoroughly within expected timeframes. You will utilize validated and standardized outcome measures to establish goals, demonstrate progress and patient rehabilitation prognosis. You will monitor and modify the progress of patients assigned to assistants and demonstrate effective communication skills with patients, families, and care team members. Qualifications Education Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program – bachelor’s minimum required Master’s Degree – Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program – Preferred Doctorate Degree – Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program – Preferred License/Certification California Physical Therapy License – Upon Hire Basic Life Support – Upon Hire Additional Qualifications A minimum of 1-year experience as a practicing therapist Highly prefer neuro experience Experience performing evaluations, designing and implementing treatment plans, and providing education in a manner appropriate to the patient's age Experience with assessment and intervention techniques in a medical, physical disabilities setting #J-18808-Ljbffr Cedars-Sinai
