Perform work safely and efficiently in all areas of the plant including break rooms, locker rooms, offices, and corridors. Ensure work area and janitorial supplies are properly organized and maintained. Understand and comply with all Quality Assurance policies, immediately reporting any potential food safety issues to management. Complete necessary paperwork to ensure all documentation requirements are met. Assist in executing pest control program and monitoring facility. Complete non-routine cleaning/sanitation tasks as assigned. Assist in the training/mentoring of newly hired janitorial team members. Assist in snow removal and management during winter months. Adhere to chemical safety protocols and site PPE requirements. Safety Protocol Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures. Correct or report any observed safety hazards. Support safety policies and programs. The Individual Who Will Own This Role High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. No experience required; in-housing training provided. Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with colleagues. Demonstrate attention to detail, quality and cleanliness in work.
