Material Handler We are seeking a reliable and safety‑focused Material Handler to support material flow and inventory accuracy within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring production lines are stocked, materials are handled efficiently, and safety and quality standards are consistently met. What You'll Do Operate powered industrial equipment including forklift, tugger, and cherry picker Stock and organize materials to support production and inventory control Deliver materials to production lines and ensure full line readiness Maintain FIFO inventory rotation and proper material sequencing Support plant housekeeping, recycling, and material organization initiatives Monitor and report equipment issues and complete daily inspections Participate in inventory counts and material reorganization activities Who You Are High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Powered Industrial Truck certification Ability to operate material handling equipment in a manufacturing environment Basic math and documentation skills Familiarity with automotive quality standards is a plus Ability to follow safety procedures and work standards Health, Safety, Physical & Travel Requirements Ability to stand, sit, and move throughout a manufacturing environment Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to work at heights up to 25 feet Frequent bending, lifting, climbing, and reaching No travel required Life at Dakkota Our success is rooted in meaningful relationships and a culture that feels like family.
