Job Description:Senior Systems AnalystNote: Fidelity will not provide immigration sponsorship for this position The RoleThis role offers the opportunity to join a SaaS/cloud-first, innovative, and fast-paced technology team within Fidelity Institutional Technology, supporting FI Distribution Solutions. The team is responsible for the discovery, analysis, and delivery of client experience and servicing applications for intermediary and institutional customers.In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the ongoing development and enhancement of client servicing capabilities, including within the Salesforce CRM platform, helping to evolve the servicing model and overall client experience.As a Senior Systems Analyst, you will partner closely with business stakeholders to understand key business drivers and requirements, going beyond simply gathering requirements to fully understand the “why” behind them. You will collaborate with development teams and technology partners to translate these needs into well-defined user stories and scalable system solutions that drive high-quality, timely delivery.You will contribute to both new and existing technology products, performing in-depth systems analysis to ensure solutions align with business objectives. Through strong collaboration, analysis, and execution, you will help drive delivery outcomes while contributing to continuous improvement across the platform.Key ResponsibilitiesLead collaboration with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine complex business and functional requirementsTranslate business needs into well-defined user stories with clear business value and acceptance criteriaPartner with Product Managers to shape backlogs, support quarterly planning, and manage delivery prioritiesFacilitate refinement sessions and ensure stories are ready for development using ATDD principlesDrive alignment across stakeholders on scope, priorities, risks, and dependenciesOwn user story validation and sign-off, ensuring delivered solutions meet requirements and quality standardsAnalyze complex systems, data models, and workflows to recommend scalable solution approachesLead identification and management of risks, dependencies, and trade-offs across initiativesSupport and influence architectural and design discussions with engineering teamsProactively identify opportunities for process, system, and client experience improvementsParticipate in and support end-to-end testing and validation activitiesThe Expertise and Skills You Bring4–6 plus years of experience as a System Analyst supporting complex technology solutionsA bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related fieldStrong experience in requirements analysis, backlog management, and Agile delivery practicesUnderstanding of enterprise platforms, including Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud)Proven ability to translate complex business problems into scalable, well-structured solutionsStrong experience facilitating stakeholder discussions and influencing decisions across teamsExperience managing product backlogs using tools like JIRA and ConfluenceStrong analytical skills, including data analysis using SQL and understanding of data modelsAbility to understand system architecture and interact effectively with development teamsExperience leading refinement sessions, defining acceptance criteria, and applying ATDD practicesProven ability to manage risks, dependencies, and competing priorities across initiativesStrong written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical audiencesAbility to work independently and lead initiatives in a fast-paced environmentNice-to-Have SkillsFinancial services domain experience (investment or wealth management)Experience with tools such as SQL Developer, Insomnia, Kafka, DatadogAbility to read code for analysis and troubleshootingFamiliarity with AI tools and their application in systems analysisSalesforce certifications or advanced platform knowledgeExperience working across global, distributed teamsThe TeamThis team is part of Fidelity’s broader distribution and client service organization, supporting a diverse client base and delivering solutions that enable high-quality service and operational excellence.
