Description:
Job Duties:
* Maintains radio or telephone contact with base or supervisor to receive instructions or be dispatched to new location
* Maintains truck log according to state and federal regulations.
* Keeps record of materials and products transported.
* Cleans, inspects, and services vehicle
* Operates equipment on vehicle to load, unload, or disperse cargo or materials.
* Assists in loading and unloading truck manually.
* Willingly attend and support Foremen/Superintendents during morning huddles and toolbox talks.
* Other duties as assigned.
Certifications
* Valid DOT Card
* Current Driver's License
* CDL - Class B or Class A (depending on type of truck driver)
* Endorsements: Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement (depending on type of truck driver)
* Clean Driving Record
