Operations Manager

Position Summary The Operations Manager is a member of the Store Management team and supports the Store Manager in the total leadership and strategic operation of a CVS/pharmacy store. The role drives store execution and performance, builds consumer loyalty through excellent customer service, and maintains an engaged, productive team through strong leadership and initiative. Operations Managers are not eligible for direct promotion to Store Manager; candidates seeking that path should apply for Store Manager in Training. Essential Functions Lead others and work effectively with store crews; supervise, assign, and direct activities of the store's crew; communicate information to crew and supervisors openly and timely. Support the Store Manager with action plans for operational and service improvement. Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints; promote a customer‑service culture (greet, offer help, and thank). Core Responsibilities Overall store management, supervision, and policy implementation. Sales and inventory management. Employee staffing, training, and development. Financial management. Customer service leadership. Required Qualifications Deductive reasoning ability, advanced analytical skills, and computer skills. Advanced communication skills, leadership, supervision, and influencing skill. Ability to work a full‑time flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight, weekend shifts, overtime, and respond to urgent issues at the store. Preferred Qualifications Experience as a retail manager or supervisor. Education High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. Hours & Pay Anticipated weekly hours: 30. Time type: Full time. Pay range: $19.00 – $29.00 per hour (or equivalent annual salary). Actual base salary will depend on experience, education, geography, and other factors.
